Dr. Mary Landwehr
Since opening this practice in 2010, our team has been dedicated to caring for patients with the latest health and technology best practices. Our Sunrise family is made up of incredible people with many years of experience in the medical field. More importantly, they care deeply about what they do and are dedicated to treating every patient like their own family.
More about me: I was born and raised in the countryside of Frankfurt, Germany. During my final year of medical school, I lived in rural Minnesota and had the fortune to work with a wonderful family doctor whose practice style and close connections with his patients deeply impressed me. My husband and I came to the US in 1999 where I started training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. After residency we moved to Chippewa Falls where I would eventually open Sunrise. My interests outside of work include spending time with my family outdoors, horseback riding, reading, and traveling.
Our Mission
The Sunrise mission is to care for patients with compassion and kindness using the latest technology and medical expertise. In times when health care seems to becoming increasingly complex, we believe in making health care services as convenient, simple, and timely as possible.

What Makes Us Different
Large hospital systems aren’t for everyone. We provide patients with a more comfortable primary health care option, one that feels less like a visit to a busy health care facility and more like–well–visiting a friend.
